Good reasons for afforestation of the forests

  • Restoring lost trees is critical to preventing the climate crisis. Trees bind CO2 from the atmosphere and store the carbon in their leaves, trunks and roots, eventually increasing the carbon stored in the soil.

  • A tree binds an average of around ten kilograms of CO2 per year.

  • Forests reforestation can also improve local water quality and reduce erosion.

  • Planting trees gives mankind valuable time to reduce CO2 emissions in order to move the tipping points in the climate system into the future.

  • We avoid the loss of the plant and animal species that call these forests home, especially since forests are home to 50% of all life on the planet.

We support the reforestation project in Yucatán, Mexico

We are planting trees on the Yucatán Peninsula and in the state of Mexico in the fight against the climate crisis. Trees create jobs, are good for biodiversity and bind the greenhouse gas CO2. Trees give us valuable time that we should definitely use to reduce our CO2 emissions.

Our warehouse invests in future-oriented energies

With a comprehensive sustainability strategy, our warehouse focuses on environmental protection and electric mobility. In-house areas are already supplied with solar energy generated in-house. In the future, commercial vehicles are also to be converted to electric drives and charged using the energy they generate themselves.
