Rice Syrup

Rice syrup is a natural and plant-based sweetener, with a clean sweet taste, and a buttery, honey-like flavor made from 100% rice. It is made from the enzymatic treatment of rice using non-GMO natural cultivated enzymes to break down the complex carbohydrate compounds into short-chain sugar molecules. Rice syrup is boiled, filtered and concentrated to viscous syrup. In addition, rice syrup is a healthy alternative to refined sugar (hypoallergenic, gluten-free and vegan). Furthermore, all our rice syrup products are also available in organic and infant safe qualities.

Rice Syrup Baby Food

Our range of rice-based syrups is also available in infant safe varieties. This range includes the traditional syrups, as well as maltose, fructose and sugar-reduced syrups. These variants are ultra-refined aid digestion and can be safely consumed by infants.

Low Sugar Rice Syrup

Low Sugar Rice Syrup is a reduced sugar alternative to several syrups. The low sugar content is due to the addition of invertase during the enzymatical treatment. Invertase converts a part of glucose into fructose. This process gives the sweetness as standard syrup with lower sugar content less 30%.

Organic Rice Syrup

All our Rice Syrup products are available in Organic & Naturland certified quality. Our rice is strictly controlled by ecological cultivation, as well as environmentally friendly and sustainable production processes.

Color Range

We offer you an individual product selection. The same applies to the determination of the color of the product. As with honey, the syrup color range is expressed in shades of amber (water white, white, light amber, amber and dark amber). This scale is actually a ruler from “0 mm Pfund” (very light) to “140 mm Pfund” (very dark) on which the color levels are displayed. The syrup color is then determined by visual comparison and measured in (mm) Pfund.
Due to the different rice qualities and the adaptation of the filter process, we can offer you rice syrup in a color range from water white (0 mm Pfund) to cloudy syrup (17-34 mm Pfund) to dark brown (85-114 mm Pfund).
