Oat Syrup

Oat Base Syrup is a natural and plant-based sweetener, with a sweet clean taste and slightly buttery and caramel flavor notes from 100% oat flour. It is made from the enzymatic treatment of oat using non-GMO natural cultivated enzymes to break down the complex carbohydrate compounds into short-chain sugar molecules. Oat flour is boiled, filtered and concentrated to viscous syrup and a healthy alternative to refined sugar. Oat syrup is hypoallergenic, gluten-free and vegan. Furthermore, all our oat syrup products are available in organic quality.

Low Sugar Oat Syrup

Low Sugar Oat Syrup is a sugar reduced alternative to several syrups. The low sugar content is due to the addition of invertase during the enzymatical treatment. Invertase converts a part of glucose into fructose. This process provides the sweetness as standard syrup with a lower sugar content of less than 30%.

Color Range

We offer you an individual product selection. The same applies to the determination of the color of the product. As with honey, the syrup color range is expressed in shades of amber (water white, white, light amber, amber and dark amber). This scale is actually a ruler from 0 mm pound (very light) to 140 mm pound (very dark) on which the color levels are shown. The syrup color is then determined by visual comparison and measured in (mm) pounds.
We offer our oat syrup with a light brown (light amber) and brown color (amber) and intense taste of oats and caramel.
