Rice Starch

Our domestic rice starch is a gluten-free thickener and stabilizer used in various industries. It is rice-based, gives a feeling of “chewiness” to its applications and contributes to a better taste and texture.Rice starch contains a large amount of carbohydrates that slowly break down in the body and thus prevent a rapid rise in blood sugar levels. Furthermore, rice starch can be used as a natural fat substitute, because it provides a creamy and fat-like mouthfeel.
Rice starch is also use in sweets and candys as coating. With its fine particle size, it ensures smooth and stable surfaces and gives the products a brilliant white colour. Rice starch serves as a clean label alternative to chemical additives and offers the possibility to replace titanium dioxide.
