Clean-Label Maltodextrin Derived from Rice
Rice maltodextrin is a polysaccharide produced from rice starch through controlled enzymatic hydrolysis. The degree of hydrolysis is defined by its dextrose equivalent (DE), allowing precise adjustment of sweetness, solubility, and functional performance.
Characterized by a neutral taste, light color, and excellent solubility, rice maltodextrin is widely used as a carrier, bulking agent, and texture modifier in food and beverage formulations. Its rice-based origin makes it particularly suitable for allergen-reduced and clean-label product concepts.
Rice maltodextrin integrates easily into both dry and liquid systems and performs reliably under thermal processing and shear conditions.
