These are the BEST Vegan Brownies!They’re fudgy, full of chocolate and completely dairy free, egg-free and vegan. Instead of sugar we used our Rice Syrup Solid, you’d never believe Vegan Brownies could taste this good.
• 200 g dark chocolate (vegan)
• 250 g flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 80 g brown sugar
• 120g Rice Syrup Solids
• 75g cocoa powder
• 5EL applesauce
• 100 ml coconut oil or canola oil
• 150 ml almond milk
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Melt the dark chocolate in water bath, or in the microwave (about 5 minutes).
Combine flour and baking powder, then stir in brown sugar, Rice Syrup Solids and cocoa powder.
Grease a rectangular baking pan (approx. 20 x 25 cm) and line with baking paper.
Mix the melted chocolate, applesauce, oil and almond milk with the dry ingredients to make a smooth batter. Pour the batter for the vegan brownies into the baking pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the batter with chocolate icing, chocolate drops or chopped nuts as desired and bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 25 minutes.
